Faith's Musings

He was really loud when he watched sports. He used the computer a lot. He had a good sense of humor. He liked to tickle us. He liked cats. He was planting grass. His mom died. He loved my mom.

Your Dad was probably really fun to watch sports with. I am glad you knew that he loved your Mom because that is important! Someday, you will have a husband that I hope is as good as your Dad.

Faith,
I too am glad you knew that your Dad loved your Mom. Those were some great things you wrote about your Dad. You are so smart and I know that you will find someone someday like your Dad, and he will love you like your Dad loved (and still loves) your Mom.

You probably can not imagine how much your dad loved his daughter. I never saw him look at you with anything but indulgent love and pride. Let that memory be a cozy blanket when you need to remember how fine you are.

Faith, it is neat that you recognized the love that your dad had for your mom. That is a great attribute. The world would be a better place if all husbands loved their wives.
